Owners, Robert and Bonnie Watt have been in the small engine repair business and customer service industry for over 39 years combined and lived in Grant County, Oregon for over 27 years. Robert & Bonnie purchased the old John Day Rigging Service (since 1975), renaming and reorganizing for the current logging and service industry in 2005; a unique "saw shop" emphasizing repair and retail service seldom seen these days. With a passion for aviation and small engines as well as a love for helping people, Robert and Bonnie make the perfect team to help locals and travelers get the job done correctly and with integrity and ownership!
Believing the importance of family and hard work they have raised their sons in the business and also brought to the team recently, Tom Wright and Wayne Simmons- bringing in an even more vast knowledge base and exceptional costumer service.
JD RENTS & POWER EQUIPMENT, INC is the parent company (since 2005) of our new venture of JD Outdoor in 2017. Encompassing clothing retail, rental stand up paddle boards (SUP), Personal flotation devices (PFD), kayaks rentals and outdoor gear and supplies.
